Welcome to the Perry Removals Ongar website. This website has been designed to help you through the process of moving home.

Until the M25 opened the narrow main street of Ongar carried much of the traffic heading south to the Thames oil terminals and the Dartford crossing.

During Word War Two, Ongar found itself placed amid three important airfields, RAF Station Chipping Ongar (Willingale), RAF Ongar and RAF North Weald. Today with  a population of over 6,000, it is known locally as Ongar but its full name is Chipping Ongar, with the smaller village of High Ongar about 1 mile to the north.

In the nearby village of Greensted, the Parish Church of St. Andrew is the oldest wooden church in the world and possibly the oldest wooden building in Europe.

Although "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" was believed to have been written in Colchester, the writer J Taylor is buried in Ongar.

Perry Removals have carried out numerous private home moves throughout the district and commercial moves in the main shopping area and commercial zones.
